Praia Carlota is located approximately a 10-minute walk south of the capital, Sal Rei, along a long sandy bay. Unlike many other spots, it is not overcrowded. The lagoon's water is predominantly flat, with a slight shore break on windier days. The wind direction ranges from side-offshore to offshore, usually blowing between 15 to 25 knots, which is why we provide a rescue boat service. This spot offers ideal conditions for kitesurfers of all levels, dependent on the swell. Beginners and freestylers can relish the smooth water and spacious area for kiting, jumping, and mastering new tricks. Wave enthusiasts have a choice of various wave spots and will find their paradise here. Additionally, the spot is perfect for foiling, as the water is deep enough for foiling right from the entry. Advanced kiters often kite to the island of Djeu, located diagonally in front of the school.
Enjoy the endless summer, as the water temperature never drops below 20 degrees Celsius year-round, and the climate remains mild, dry, and sunny. And that's not all... In the water, you might even encounter turtles.
